Greetings on a Thursday that looks more like May than it does March!

SATURDAY IS MID-WINTER CAMP JAMBOREE!

The folks from Lurecrest will be here on Saturday and we will have a raucous good time! Cookout is at 5:00 PM-Service is at 6:30 PM. Cal Kai if you have any questions or haven't made reservations!

SUNDAY IS YOUTH SUNDAY

The Youth of the church will be leading in worship. The sermon will be delivered by Mike, but the rest of the service will be led by ourt very talented youth. Come and support them on Sunday morning!

Special Opportunities for Lent

March 7 – FAT TUESDAY – Pancake Supper (Burning of the Palms for Ash Wednesday)

March 8 – Ash Wednesday Services of Ashes and Penitence 6:30 PM

Lenten Luncheons at 12:00 noon at First United Methodist Church, Mt. Holly. Each Wednesday in Lent.

April 1 – "Go Ballistic" Service with Cabot LaPratt

April 16 – Palm Sunday – Day of drama and celebration for all ages

April 20 – Maundy Thursday, 7:00 PM

April 21 – Good Friday, 7:30 PM

April 23 – Easter Sunday – Sunrise Service – time to be announced

Looking for Serious Disciples

Each Sunday evening in Lent we will focus on spiritual disciplines for the Christian life. There will be a time of prayer and worship each night, followed by a discussion of inner and outward disciplines such as: prayer, fasting, service, silence, and others. Studies will begin on March 5th at 6:30 PM and go through Palm Sunday evening. Come grow in your faith!

New Sunday School Class begins on March 5th

Are you currently without a Sunday School Class? We invite you to help us form a new one. Mike Stanton-Rich will be helping the class in its initial stages as we develop a teaching-learning plan for the future. Come and join us!

SUPPERS FOR 6

Needed-persons willing to get to know other church members. You will be put in groups of six and be expected to meet together three times for meals between now and September. Purpose: to grow closer as a church family. Call the church office at 827-4468 to get on the list!
